How to use Sigma
Sigma focuses on simplicity when they made their Telegram bot, so most of the guide is self-explanatory, but Sigma recommends all of there users, even the experienced ones, to give the guide a read or watch the videos. Sigma can be used for multiple chains and networks and is fully compatible with Base network.
How to use Sigma on Base
Start with Sigma
First thing you would need to do is visit the bot on Telegram. Click on the link below to visit the bot directly on Telegram. It may be wise to pin this bot in one of your folders.
Wallet setup
Setup your wallet with Sigma by typing: /wallets > which will give you a list of options. You can choose to create a new wallet for Base or import an excisting Base wallet incase you allready have one.
Create a Wallet
If you choose to generate a wallet on the Sigma Telegram bot you will receive this wallet instant. Safe your private key and your seed phrase so you can recover this wallet at all times!
Import a Wallet
If you choose to import a wallet you would need to enter your private key in order to connect it to Sigma’s Telegram bot. Once you connected your wallet you are good to go and trade on Base L2 Network.
Buying Base Tokens
Once you joined a few channels that provide you with fresh pairs and new liquidity burns you can start your adventure and buy these tokens with just one click. Just paste the CA in Sigma.
Selling Base Tokens
Incase you would like to sell your tokens just open the Sigma Bot and with one click you can sell your complete bag or a percentage of your bag It is possible to place auto sell orders with Sigma.
How to add funds to your Sigma wallet
If you have chosen to create a new wallet you would need to send funds to that wallet. Without any funds it is not possible to make any trades. Type: /wallets > and all of your wallets become visibale. Copy the wallet adress you want to fund and deposit cbETH to that account to trade on the Base Network.
How to export your private key with Sigma
When you type: /wallets > tap retrieve private keys. All your private keys from your current wallets will show, tap the private key to copy this info and paste it to your main wallet if its not there. Never share your private key with anyone!
How to get cbETH so I can trade on Base
In order to trade on the Base network you would need to bridge some of your crypto to cbETH. We recommand to bridge your funds at the official base website, however you can also choose another bridge service.
